Dr. Lucy Killea, St. Paul’s supporter and senior living advocate, was recently honored as ‘Mrs. San Diego’ at the San Diego Rotary Club. Dr. Killea is a former elected official and advocate for women’s issues.
The honor of Mr./Mrs./Ms. San Diego is a living person, not now in government elective office, who has contributed outstanding community betterment to the San Diego region in a variety of ways, through his/her efforts over a long period of time.
Out of over 33,000 clubs worldwide, the San Diego Rotary is the 5th biggest! With over 500 local members, is one of the the longest standing Rotary clubs in San Diego County, our club includes some of the city’s most well known civic, business and community leader. Dr. Lucy Killea, Ph.D is well-known for her 18 years of service as an elected official, serving on the San Diego City Council (1978-82); in the California State Assembly (1982-89); and in the State Senate (1989-96).
