If you need senior care but don’t know what…
Active communities for retirees
Independent living facilities are for active seniors that want supportive services including meals, housekeeping, and activities. They often provide a central dining area, community spaces, and offer scheduled social programs. Seniors can select a studio, one or two bedroom apartment, and maintain their privacy while having access to all of the amenities.
For seniors requiring support
Assisted living facilities provide services for seniors including meals, laundry, housekeeping, and levels of care that may include managed medical care, assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). They are best for seniors that need some supervision and care but not at the level of a skilled nursing facility.
Support for daily needs
Memory care is a more specialized environment within an assisted living community which provides higher levels of services for those with Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia.
Rehabilitation & temporary stays
Skilled nursing facilities are for those with medical needs that require around-the-clock monitoring and care. Residents often live in a semi-private room and meals are provided in-room or in the community dining setting.
Fun activities for seniors
A senior day program is for those with mild to moderate memory loss that need supervision during the day while their caregivers are at work, or taking much needed time for themselves. Day programs offer meals, activities, and socialization.
