St. Paul’s Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is a 24-hour skilled nursing community conveniently located near Downtown San Diego, just a few short blocks from beautiful Balboa Park.
At our boutique 59-bed center, we provide round-the-clock licensed nursing and rehabilitation services with an individualized care plan for every resident. This includes assistance with activities of daily living, as well as physical, speech, and occupational therapy.
We recognize the importance of attending to mental, emotional, and spiritual needs – not just the physical ones. That’s why our dedicated nurses are trained to care for the whole person. They take time to learn about each resident’s preferences so that each person feels genuinely cared for.

We understand that each of our residents has very unique needs, and we work diligently to ensure that those needs are met, all while maintaining an atmosphere of comfort, privacy, and happiness.
In addition to providing assistance with activities of daily living, we also offer physical, speech, and occupational therapy, as well as planned daily activities for those who wish to participate. Residents can enjoy delicious food in the dining room, or receive meals in their room. Residents at St. Paul's nursing home will enjoy many amenities.
Temporary Rehabilitation or Long-Term Care
Unlike many skilled nursing centers in San Diego, St. Paul’s Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation accepts residents for both short-term and long-term care. Every resident has access to the full suite of amenities and services.
St. Paul’s Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation offers hospice care in the form of 24-hour skilled nursing, which can be integrated with a local hospice agency. We accept Medicare when applicable, and also keep an allotted number of beds open for Medi-Cal recipients. Please call or send us a message to discuss rates/costs.
