The fun, vibrant and mission-driven event raised support for renovations at St. Paul’s McColl Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

SAN DIEGO, CA — St. Paul’s Senior Services raised a record-breaking $360,000 at SUMMERFEST 2026. The signature annual fundraising celebration was held on August 15, 2026 at Humphreys by the Bay on Shelter Island. The tropical-inspired evening brought together community leaders, supporters, and friends of St. Paul’s for an unforgettable evening of great food, refreshing drinks, live music, exciting auction bidding, dancing, and plenty of fun, all in support of renovations at St. Paul’s McColl Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The funds raised from the evening will be used to ensure San Diego seniors continue to receive the compassionate care they deserve.
St. Paul’s McColl Health Center provides both short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation for patients recovering after a hospital stay, as well as long-term residential nursing care for individuals who require ongoing support. The center provides around-the-clock nursing care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialized support for older adults recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them regain strength, independence, and quality of life.
“SUMMERFEST is always one of the most joyful nights of the year for St. Paul’s because it brings our community together around a mission that matters deeply,” said Michael McHale, President and CEO of St. Paul’s Senior Services. “We are so grateful for the community who showed up and helped raise critical funds to strengthen the care and services that older adults and their families rely on across San Diego.”
Guests enjoyed live music by Republic of Music, Lucky Lounge gaming tables, a green screen photo experience, hosted bar, silent auction, RaffleMania, food stations, the first-ever macaroon pull, a live auction and an open dance floor overlooking the beautiful waterfront setting.
