My interest in working with seniors began years ago when I was an intern at St. Paul’s while at the University of San Diego. I was fortunate enough to get my first job right out of graduation with the organization and truly began to cultivate my love of this industry. I continued my career in senior living primarily in operations as a healthcare administrator, executive director, and vice president of operations in a number of different communities in San Diego and throughout the West Coast. My graduate degree is from the University of Southern California in Long-Term Care Administration and I am also licensed as a nursing home administrator and an administrator for residential care facilities. Coming back to St. Paul’s 15 years after I started my first job here feels like coming home—and I relish the opportunity to make a difference once again. I enjoy doing a lot of different things here like overseeing strategy for community operations, mentoring team members in leadership, and making things more efficient through procurement. But my ultimate goal and passion is always to work closely with our team to give residents and families a great experience every day they choose to spend at our communities and in our programs.
