Introducing St. Paul’s new educational series for 2019, “Plan For Tomorrow, Today!”

Event Date: Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9 AM – 12 PM

Join us at our second of 5, FREE educational workshops that St. Paul’s will be hosting throughout this year. Our second event will take place at St. Paul’s PACE in El Cajon and the theme is “Financial and Estate Planning.”

Amrine Law, Estate Planning and Elder Law Practice
Yvonne’s need to make a difference in the lives of others is what brought her to San Diego and to study law in 2006. She attended California Western School of Law with a concentration in Elder Law, focusing her course work on Estate Planning, Community Property, Estate and Gift Tax, and Federal Income Tax. She is a member of the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform and the National Academy for Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and she serves on the board of the Southern California chapter of NAELA. Yvonne is regularly asked to speak about topics relating to Estate Planning, Special Needs Trusts, and Long Term Care. As the trustee for her mother since 2001, she’s gained invaluable empathy for families dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and finding resources for proper care and support.

Insurance Eligibility Coordinator at St. Paul’s PACE
Jean attended UCSD and was a Medicare counselor, registered by the California Department of Aging, for more than eight years. As a previous Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP) advocate, she contributed to many senior programs and committees, including the Caregiver Coalition, before becoming the Insurance Eligibility Coordinator with St. Paul’s PACE. She has been a community speaker for many years and enjoys working with seniors. Jean is knowledgeable of the benefits and programs in the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), specifically dual eligible Medicare/MediCal beneficiaries. She would like to assist you in understanding your choices so that you may make an informed decision about types of Insurance and what is covered.

  • Types of Insurance: What is Covered in Terms of Care?
