The Child Care program is designed to address the specific needs of each age and stage in a child’s development. We stress the process of learning and discovery to help them become self-confident, independent and inquisitive learners. We encourage children to feel good about themselves as a consequence of their own achievements. Our program is play-oriented, and we believe that through play, children acquire the foundations for reading, writing, and logical thinking. The Child Care program is part of St. Paul’s Senior Homes & Services Inter-generational program. St. Paul’s is proud to offer one of the first inter-generational programs in Southern California. Inter-generational care is the bringing together of children and seniors to benefit the lives of both. Twice a day, and at lunch time, the children come together with the seniors in the Adult Day Care program and participate in fun, creative and planned activities. Hours of operation are 6:30am. to 6:30pm Monday through Friday to meet the individual needs of families. Applications for admission to the program are accepted without regard to race, religion, sex or national origin.
