St. Paul’s PACE Chula Vista is the fastest growing program in California, with 82 seniors enrolled since opening in August 2012!
This is a credit not only to the quality of the program and the need that it fills in the community, but also to the excellent enrollment staff, who contribute 50 hours to coordinate the enrollment of each participant. With an average of 11 new participants each month, the PACE Chula Vista team is hard at work getting qualified seniors the care that they need.
“We have had a tremendous response from the community in the South Bay,” says Amanda Gois, the Director of Outreach and Enrollment for PACE. “The word of mouth and the outreach efforts of the Enrollment Team have been really impressive. As a result, we are transforming lives every day.”
New state regulations may also impact growth at PACE, since the “Dual Eligibles” program that begins later this year will require that seniors eligible for both Medi-Cal and Medicare enroll in a managed care program. PACE will be an option for those dual eligible seniors, so we will continue to work on raising seniors’ awareness of PACE and what it can do for them.
