St. Paul's Senior Homes & Services - Ice Cream Socials
Thanks to Love Uniting Volunteers (LUV), St. Paul’s has hosted Ice Cream Socials for over 10 years.
For the second year in a row, Morgan Stanley joined in the fun by participating in this highly anticipated event at St. Paul’s Villa. Volunteers served cool treats to Villa Residents who also enjoyed live music, dancing, and even a special singing performance of “The Girl From Ipanema” by Bill McColl.
Volunteer LUV members also helped Residents get an early start on celebrating the 4th of July weekend by hosting an Ice Cream Social at St. Paul’s Manor. Live music and dancing was also featured as Residents enjoyed the beautiful outdoor San Diego weather while singing to their favorite songs performed by Just Us Two.
Bettie Lue Thorn says, “I think it’s wonderful to have a social event where we can get together, socialize, eat ice cream, and dance.”
